Abstract:

The GeoInformaics is being applied in Vietnam. The authors have applied in mineral resource assessment. This paper presents the initial results of the gold resource assessment, application for a quite original gold featured on the Phuoc Son, Quang Nam, the special area in Viet Nam. Research results, in addition to get the database (both in geographic information systems environment), and support partition prospects. In Phuoc Son, about 100 kilomiters, the authors to divide three prospect areas: hight prospects (Bai Dat, Bai Go), medium prospects (Bai Chuoi, Bai Gio, Tra Long-Suoi Cay, K7, Bo) and low prospects (Bai Buom, Vang Nhe).
