Abstract:

Technology mechanized mining has been applied in some coal underground mining and there is trend, which TKV Coal Group is selected to raise mining production according to the development strategy of the coal industry. However, the application of advanced mining technology to thick, seam, slope mines is quite new. The experience is rather limited. The fact is that the advanced mining technology is applied successfully in some countries with the coal mining industry development in the world. This technology shows that selections of suitable methods of roof coal recovery and caving steps have very important role to effectively exploit. Within the scope of the article, authors analyze technical factors that affect the mining efficiency of mechanized longwall top coal caving.
