Abstract:

Within the paper, the author presents some research results on the appropriate drilling options to optimize the time of construction of wells in the Gulf of Bac Bo.With the Oligocene’s soil elements of softness, hard terracing and high abrasion, the combination of PDC and TCI provides good drilling performance and high lifespan. The selection of the FuseTek, Kymera, and StingBlade for drilling into rocky areas with different characteristics in the reservoir was the result of a combination of traditional rock breaking theory between the PDC, TCI and diamond permeability. Application of FuseTek, Kymera, StingBlade for the construction of wells at Northern Red River has improved drilling speed, longer lifting and drilling times. This will improve the efficiency of drilling and reduce the cost of drilling wells
