Abstract:

Over the years, coal mine fires in Quang Ninh have occurred more frequently. This generates a series of toxic gases that affect seriously to the safety of the mining operations. This paper conducts a brief description of underground mine fires in some areas of Quang Ninh over the past ten years. Then, some methods from Poland and Japan are presented to predict of the ability of coal fire. Finally, general preventive measures and appropriate fire protection are proposed
