Abstract:

Kimson coastal wetland area characterised by quite simple geologicalstructure. The sediments of Thaibinh formation is almost unique exposed formation on the surface of studied area. In the depth, only quartenary sediments of Lechi, Hanoi, Vinhphuc, Haihung formations can be seen. This area is the location that has been, being and will bee exploited in many diverst fields such as planting forest, aquaculture, development of ecological tourism to making maximum economical benefits for local community. Therefore, the research works and assessment of environment pollution of soil and water of this area play very crucial role to ensure sustainable development. In fact, preliminary research results of the authors show the local pollution of arsenic in soil in studied area. The pollution of cadmium, iron, amony occurs in some areas. Surface water in Connoi area is polluted seriously by lubricant and oil. Ground water in the studied area is also polluted locally by cadmium, lead and amony
