Abstract:
The study shows transporting capacity of the pipeline depends on the physical and chemical properties, rheological properties of the fluid being transported and the construction characteristics of the pipeline. Oil produced in Vietsovpetro's fields has high content of paraffin with high freezing temperature as well as viscosity. Seawater temperature is always lower than the freezing temperature of the oil from 5-10 degree C. The pipeline system is almost non-insulated terminal and has no shuttle system to clear pipeline. Rapidly deposition of paraffin in oil causes high potential risk of pipeline jam. This article shows the theoretical and empirical studies of hydrodynamic processes have heat exchange, that allow for the construction of highly accurate modeling simulation for steady and unstable flow of transportation pipeline the liquid with complex rheological properties in the orther of operating conditions, the current operation of transportation pipeline with high-content-paraffin oil and also the deposition of paraffin in Vietsovpetro pipeline.
