Abstract:
The article addresses the concept and initially proposes quantitative indicators of land pressures on agriculture. To understand the land pressure concept, which is used in many land reports, it is necessary to analyze and quantify the factors that cause pressures. Land pressure is a composite evaluation criterion, which application of GIS and appropriate multi-criteria assessment (MCE) methods will create land pressure map, shows the distribution of the pressure levels on land for each agricultural areas. The land pressure information can support for strategery decision making and creating the plan on land use, and increasing the capital investment, strengthening the solutions for regenerating and protecting the soil. This paper as one of the results of the project (coded BDKH.10/16-20) Researching and applying modern technologies for building natural resource change management models, completing the management tools, and improving the monitoring capacity in land use change.
