Abstract:
Longwall face I-7-22A at Nam Mau coal mine is lying under Goc Vang stream at level 175-200 m. Due to the deep mining and complex geological conditions at the mine, faces belong to seams underlying Goc Vang stream are scheduled to be extracted, ensuring mine productivity and coal resource exploitation. However, the technology and safety in mining this face should be carefully assessed in detail. This paper presents assessment and investigation in order to propose appropriate technology and drainage solutions, contributing to improving mine safety when face I-7-22A is in operation
