Abstract:

The electricity demand forecasting plays an important role in fields of development scheduling of electricity system. Research and applications of the artificial neural networks to the problem of electricity demand forecasting are a new trend to provide the forecasting methods which are more flexible and smarter than the traditional methods. In the paper, the author has focused on studying, selecting, and building an ANN network structure matching the problem of electricity demand forecasting. Results of the electricity demand forecasting by neural network method are applied for Vinh city in periods from 2016 to 2020 to verify the accuracy of the proposed research.
