Abstract:
The article uses ideas of Prof. Michael Porter as a method to analyze the formation of added value created through the production stages of investment projects in the operational phase. The authors of this paper have applied the method to analyze the formation of the project value chain of the conveyors transporting coal from the pipe 56 to Port Ben Can Port of Da Bac logistics company - Vinacomin. Each step in the project creates a number of value added to the project. Result of analysis shows how each stage of the formation of the final value of the project itself adds value through the stages, thereby helping investors make investment decisions, as well as operate the project to improve the capacity of the project activities and achieve the targets of economic efficiency when setting up the project.
