Abstract:

Feldspar is one of minerals that are widely used in many industrial fields, especially in the industry of glass and ceramics. Dai Loc area, Quang Nam province, has a potential of pegmatite containing feldspar with good quality for producing glass, ceramics and other products. Bodies of pegmatite were formed in the Dai Loc pegmatite area. They usually distribute along the fault systems running northwest-southeast and sub-latitude orientation, along boundary between metamorphic rock of A Vuong formation and granite of Dai Loc complex. The results indicated that 66 bodies of pegmatite with distributed area of 13km in length and 150m in width. Reserve/resource of pegmatite bearing feldspar is about 35.5 million tons, in which at 122+333 level is 3.4 million tons. This is important foundation in planning for exploration, exploitation, using efficiently in Quang Nam area parcularly and in provinces at central regions and Tay Nguyen area generally.
