Abstract:

This paper shows the importance of determining the ambient air quality in the province of Lao Cai in general and urban areas, in particular industry. This paper applies the method of air quality index (AQI) to assess ambient air quality Lao Cai province based on documentation of monitoring data DONRE in the period from 2007 to 2014 and the results of monitoring data and environmental analysis at Tang Loong Industrial Zone in 2012, 2013, 2014 by University of Mining and Geology [8]. The study results showed that the air quality changes over the years in urban areas and the industrial province of Lao Cai. Evaluation results of air pollution based AQI has provided environmental information to agencies and community management are simple to understand, intuitive to raise community awareness about environmental protection
