Abstract:

Thua Thien Hue is one of marine provinces of Vietnam that has a high potential of heavy minerals forming in mixed marine - aeolian deposits at age of late-middle Holocene and they distribute along the beaches. Although many geologists have been interested in this kind of minerals however studying characteristics of the heavy minerals and their distribution in spatial relationship in order to give a basic for acessessment of quality, ablitity of oxploitation, processing is still limited. Depending on results and collected documents, the paper is to introduce characteristics of heavial minerals and their distribution along the beach of Thue Thien Hue Province; at the same time proposing a exploration net and works to access quality and reserve of the mixed heavy minerals.
