Abstract:

One of the reasons for the degradation and damage to water production wells in Nhon Trach - Dong Nai Industrial Zoneis due to the conventional circulation method used for the wells. This method has several disadvantages in drilling water wells in sedimentary strata of Pliocene in Nhon Trach. Within the scope of the article, the authors exhibit some preliminary results of the application of reverse circulation technology to drill water wells in sedimentary strata in Nhon Trach - Dong Nai. The advantage of maintaining pneumatic reverse circulation is that cuttings circulated out from boreholes, include gas, water and drilling mud (a three-phase flow), impact indirectly to the wellbores and water-bearing strata. This had a positive impact on the life expectancy of wells as well as improved the efficiency of the operation.
