Abstract:

Based on theory of Catastrophe and Entropy, through the content of this paper, the authors will refer to a new approaching method in studying and evaluating the dynamic state of a technology system on the perspective of dynamic stability and durability. The application in practical has been performed for the collection and transport system of oil and gas by offshore pipeline of Bach Ho Field - Vietsovpetro, in order to to demonstrate the decent scientific foundation of this new theory, when applied to a specific industry. Application of Catastrophe and Entropy theory in researching a specific pipeline‘s dynamic allow us to quantitatively evaluate the dynamic nature of the whole system about dynamic stability and durability. The research results will allow us to orient, as well as propose improve and optimize solutions for the object of study.
