Abstract:

In all field of Vietsovpetro, these facilities are inter-connected via 750 km of infield pipeline. During the process of production, collecting and transporting and processing paraffin oil in Bach Ho, Rong field and other connected fields of Vietsovpetro Company always raises many challenges and difficulties. So systematic research on oil characteristics is essential to optimize and develop the suitable technology of collecting, transporting and processing for the particular conditions in Vietsovpetro fields. In this paper, the authors will generally describe the specific physico-chemical properties of paraffin oil in the fields of Vietsovpetro Company as paraffin fraction, crystallization temperature, viscosity, characteristic changes in the stratigraphy. The results of this study not only help designers optimize the collection and transporting processing system for the field, but also help operational engineering prevention, handling paraffin deposition deposition in the pipelines.
