Abstract:

The wireline drilling technology is a cutting-edge drilling technology utilized for solid minerals exploration operations in Vietnam. Applying this drilling technology required drilling fluids of high quality to promote the method’s efficicency. In the scope of the study, the author presented a research orientation as well as achievements in the preparation of polimer solution. This kind of solution overcame the disadvantages of traditional clay solution by adding polimer materials to replace or combine with the extant chemicals. This had created clay or polymer solutions of high quality, meeting the needs of wireline drilling technology. Such plays an essential role in the drilling technology because it helped to reduce drilling problems throughout drilling processes and improve the rate of penetration.
