Abstract:

The geomechanical processes in rock mass around the drifts in the Coal Mining Region Quang Ninh are analysed by using Phase 2 and parametric studies. Combining the simulation results with the displacement mearsurement results in different coal mines allows building of relationships between the boundary displacement at the support installing time, the maximum boundary displacement of the drifts, the boundary displacement by equilibrium state and the relevant geomechanical and geometric parameters, like UCS, the in-situ stress and the drift-span. Subject to all regulations, the steel arch support can be choosed and design on the basis of obtains relations
