Abstract:
One of the methods to controll blasting energy is to adjust the parameters of dynamics pulse with the change of material and the stemming structure in the bore hole. Stemming Material and stemming structure affect the energy and the duration of the explosion. Using a good stemming structure will produce a reasonable pulse, a wider crushing zone and good fragmentation. The determination of the Optimal parameters of the stemming height allows to increase the quality of blasted rocks and protect the constructions near the blasting area.
