Abstract:

Vietnam is on the way to catch up with the trend of international integration, leading to rapid urbanization in cities and large urban areas, including the capital Hanoi. The consequence of this process is that the area of urban land has increased rapidly, the face of the city changes day by day, ..., along with the change in a land area, the type of land use change, ... In order to update these changes to the cadastral map, it is necessary to go directly to the field with many drawbacks: time-consuming, heavy dependence on weather conditions. This article presents the results of the application of the Quickbird imagery with 0.61 m spatial resolution for updating the change information related to the location of the parcels , type of land use, ... on cadastral maps by ArcGIS software, pilot study was Hoang Mai district, Hanoi. After that, it was compared with 10 exam-points which coordinates were determined by a ComNav T300 GPS receiver. From there, evaluate the benefits and efficiency of this new technology.
