Abstract:
The inconsistence of floor level where a floor may raise up to the face causes many difficulties for coal extraction, especially in the mechanised longwall faces. At the mechanised face Seam 14.5 Khe Cham III coal mine, rock floor heaves at locations of supports No. 20 - 40 and 71 - 75, decreasing the economic-technical norms of the face. The problem can be addressed by raising the level of floor. This paper proposes a sequence for cutting and raising the floor level, facilitating a continuous and efficient face operation. Simultaneously, the paper presents technical solutions that can be developed and applied for the similar geo-mining conditions in Quang Ninh coal field as well as in the world
