Abstract:
Standard point positioning is one of the basic positioning principle in satellite positioning. In order to solve the absolute positioning problem, we need to calculate the satellite’s coordinate at the epoch which has observation and adjust some error sources to it. With the standard point positioning, satellite’s coordinate was computed by broadcast ephemeris. In this ephemeris, SV Health index is one of the component should be addressed when calculating the satellite’s coordinate. This paper examined the efficiency of solving the absolute positioning problem in case of using SV Health index and point’s coordinate to compute troposphere’s correction. The result shows that using the exact point position and the suitable method in computing satellite’s coordinate can improve the accuracy of solving the SPP problem.
